Domovent Clean SS 50mm Stainless Steel Air & Dirt Separator
The Domovent Clean air & dirt separator removes both air and dirt from water systems.
During the installation of a new system, dirt will accumulate, and once the system is operational, scale and particles from corrosion produced by entrained air will accumulate. These integrated devices are more efficient and cost effective than individual air and dirt separators.
Separators for air and dirt should be utilised in heating and cooling systems.
The device should be put in the flow loop, immediately after the boiler but before the pump, in a heating system. In a chilled system the unit must be located in the return loop close to the chiller.
The flow velocity should be less than 1.5m/s. If the flow velocity is above 1.5m/s, efficiency will be reduced.
