A Cat 5 booster set is a type of booster set that is designed to prevent backflow. Backflow is the flow of water from a non-potable source back into the potable water supply. This can happen in a number of ways, such as when a hose is connected to a tap and used to wash down a bin or other contaminated area.

The Domoboost Protex Cat 5 booster set consists of two main components: a break tank and a booster pump. The break tank is a small, sealed tank that stores water.

When the booster pump is turned on, it pumps water from the break tank to the outlet. The break tank provides a barrier between the contaminated water that could be in the hose and the potable water in the outlet. This prevents the contaminated water from backflowing into the potable water supply.

Cat 5 booster sets are used in a variety of applications where there is a risk of backflow, such as:
