The E-SPD+ by Ebara is a new generation inverter that features air cooling, the E-SPD+ can be installed on the pump motor terminal board. The Ebara E-SPD+ has been introduced and designed to better meet requirements of energy saving, pressure variations, reduction of operating cost and acoustic comfort. The Ebara E-SPD+ 2200 MT is for installation on 230V three-phase pumps with up to 2.2kW nominal power.

The versatility of the E-SPD+ design, enables it to be installed on Ebara pump motors from MEC 71 up to MEC 132. The E-SPD+ is highly flexible, enabling it to be used with centrifugal pumps, both horizontal and vertical, and courtesy of the wall installation kit (optional), the E-SPD+ can also be combined with submerged pumps. The units feature an innovative LCD display for viewing and changing operating parameters and for keeping track of the history of the key parameters, faults and alarms. Its cover can be rotated 180° for easier reading.

The E-SPD+ has system protection against overcurrents, input voltage fluctuations, dry running and losses in the system. The units are easy to install and program thanks to the highly-intuitive and user-friendly software. Connectivity to the E-SPD+ is provided by 4 configurable digital inputs, 2 configurable digital outputs, 2 analogue 4-20 mA inputs, 1 0-10v input, and 1 input for PTC.
