VASCO is a purpose-built family of variable frequency drives (VFDs) designed to optimise the performance and protect the integrity of pumping systems by precisely controlling pump speed. This versatile range is suitable for a wide array of applications, including:

VASCO's compact units connect to virtually any pump, intelligently managing its operation to maintain a constant desired physical dimension (such as pressure, flow, or temperature). By operating the pump only at the speed required to meet demand, VASCO maximises energy efficiency and extends the life of the entire system.

- Compatibility Alert for NASTEC Vasco - 

We only supply the latest generation of NASTEC Vasco inverters. For multi-pump systems (e.g., booster sets), older models will not communicate with the new ones. If you are adding a new unit or replacing a single unit in such an application, you will be required to upgrade all inverters to the current generation to ensure proper system operation. For verification, please provide our sales team with photos of your existing inverter's exterior and its internal boards.

Comprehensive Motor Protection and Monitoring: Overload and dry-running protection, input current and supply voltage indication, integrated soft start/stop (reducing peak absorption and further extending system life), running hour recording, and error/alarm logging.

Multi-Pump Control: Control of a second and thrid pump at constant speed DOL (Direct On Line), and connectivity for combined operation with other devices.

Robust and Versatile Design: The compact, all-aluminum body provides exceptional durability, lightweight handling, and efficient cooling. IP55 protection allows installation in diverse environments, including humid and dusty locations. An illuminated LCD and buzzer provide clear operational status and immediate alarm notification. 

Motor Mounting Kit: This is offered as an optional extra when ordering the VASCO V209 inverter. This kit allows the inverter to be mounted and cooled directly by the motor fan. It provides the necessary clamps/adapter for secure attachment to the motor fan cover or motor feet.

VASCO variable speed drives offer a cost-effective, fully featured, motor-mountable solution (wall mounting kit available, sold separately) suitable for retrofitting to various pump types. By enabling pumps to operate below maximum speed when full power is not required, VASCO delivers significant energy savings and reduces pump wear. Integrated features include a pressure transducer, dry-run protection, soft start, and a duty pump changeover timer.
