Submersible Drainage Pumps

A submersible pump is the easiest way of removing "unwanted" water from basements, cellars, and wells. The pump is a piece of electrical and mechanical equipment that is designed to transfer liquid from one location to another, the pump is completely submerged in water and is the best solution for removing water from areas where it is not wanted, such as removing flood water from cellars.

Submersible pumps have a suction fitted to the bottom where water is drawn into and then moves through the pump to the outlet or delivery connection using a connecting hose kit to drain out the water.

What makes submersible water pumps different from other pumps is that their motor is sealed off to prevent any water from coming into contact with electrics.

Small submersible water pumps are more efficient than other types such as jet pumps, which require less power due to the fact they push water to the surface rather than pulling it. Our submersible pumps (or sump pumps) use a hermetically sealed motor close-coupled to the pump body. The whole apparatus can then be submerged in the water to be pumped.
