Grundfos Hot Water Service Circulating Pumps

In large domestic hot water systems with extended water pipes, it takes a relatively long time for this cold water to be removed from the pipes before hot water is drawn. Domestic hot water is circulated at a constant minimum temperature to minimize energy consumption. Circulation pumps are used to circulate domestic hot water to the production system "heat exchanger or water heater". It is often necessary to set up hot water circulation to minimize bacterial growth in pipe systems.

In large hot water systems, circulation can be conveniently managed by a BMS.
