Flamco Potable Expansion Vessels

The Flamco Airfix P and Flofix potable water expansion vessels are for use in domestic and commercial sealed chilled and hot water systems and are available in a wide range of sizes from 2 - 1000 litres expansion vessels, these come with a nitrogen gas pre-charge pressure of 2.7 bar for longer retention of pre-charge pressure. 

Potable water is also referred to as drinking water, this water is expected to be tasteless, clear, and wholesome. Potable water systems can be garden hoses, car washes, irrigation systems, domestic showers, hand basins, boosted cold mains, etc. These can also be referred to as drinking water systems. Hot water for showers and hand basins started life as cold mains water. These expansion vessels can be applied in combination with all hot water calorifiers and as surge vessels in pressure-boosting systems. To prevent domestic and commercial installations lose millions of litres of potable water due to expansion water leaking from the vent and expansion pipe.
